Privacy, and how little we actually have

Think George Orwell's book 1984 is impossible? It's already here. Have you read the Terms and Conditions for Smart TVs? The Permissions you grant Google? Facebook?

It is surprising how many people have the "I have nothing to hide" philosophy. Would you tell complete strangers where you live and when you're not home? Do you want your every move recorded by audio and video? Even when you're having sex?

I care about my privacy. Much more so than the average person. I do not use Facebook. For many years, I refused to have a smart phone (and now that I have one, I use a throw away email address). I read Permissions and Terms of Conditions.

Think I'm paranoid? First, read this Wired article by Marc Goodman: http://www.wired.com/2015/03/geeks-guide-marc-goodman/. After you finish, either listen to the much more detailed embedded audio file or download it. Seriously, listen to it. It will scare you, but you need to understand the world we live in so you can make educated choices.

Gambling? VOIP? Privacy?

Were you an online gambler? Has your internet service provider blocked you from using Skype or another VOIP service? Do you live outside the United States yet want full access to Pandora, Youtube, and Netflix? There are ways around this.

The simplest way is to use a VPN. A VPN is a direct connection to another computer. By directly connecting to another computer first, you can then use the service you want in an area where it is still allowed. How does this work? By using an IP address which is based in a country which allows the service you wish to use, you get access. It's an easy solution.

I have been using a paid VPN service for several months. Since I travel worldwide, sometimes my VOIP service won't work. All I have to do is load up my VPN and "viola!" It works! Simple as can be and worth every penny. To learn more, click the banner below and choose which service best fits your specific needs. You'll be glad you did.

How many sex partners have you had?

Maybe it's natural curiosity to want to know.. I don't know. I've NEVER asked a sex partner how many there were before me. Why? It's none of my business!! Nor will I answer that question for anyone else.

Guys are so silly. Most of them want a girl who has only had sex with a few men. Because of this, the average woman will lie and say 3-7. Yet how quickly did she sleep with you? Some men believe that a woman should have sex with them within three dates. First of all, I completely disagree with this and usually hold off for months when I want to pursue a relationship with a man. Second, any guy who believes that a woman who slept with him so early has only had a few sex partners is lying to himself.

Get the numbers. A woman is 30. She claims she lost her virginity at 17 and that she has only had 4 partners. Most of her relationships have lasted 3 years. Hmmmm. 13 years divided by 3 equals 4.333. This is plausible enough for you to believe her. Now--really think about it. How long did she wait before having sex with you? Do you believe that every single guy she fucked was a good guy and serious about a relationship? Does she ever go out and party? Did she? Does she have any "bad girl" girlfriends?

Instead of caring how many sex partners your girlfriend had before you, all that you should care about is who she is fucking now. Is it only you? Do you care if she has sex with other people? Is she disease-free? If you both agree to the sexual terms of your relationship, nothing else should matter.

NEVER ASK QUESTIONS WHEN YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO ACCEPT ANY ANSWER. Women: this goes for you too. Don't look down on a guy because he admits to having hired hookers. Most men have. Get over it. You should be grateful for his honesty. People are not born great lovers; it takes time and experimentation.

If your partner is good in bed without needing additional "training", consider yourself lucky and don't stress!

Kacey Jordan's betrayal of her client, Charlie Sheen

Charlie liked to hire hookers. On my 22nd birthday I hired my first hooker and have done so many times since, so this makes sense to me. Hiring hookers isn't as much about the sex as it is paying for the woman to leave afterward. Really.
It is paying for fun without any drama. Simple. No late night phone calls, no stalkers, no regrets.

There is a big difference between a private hookup and paid sex.
Paid sex implies discretion.

Kacey Jordan gives hookers everywhere a bad name. As "paid entertainment" she should NOT have went to the media. Charlie Sheen even overpaid her fee several times over. Instead of being appreciative, she's choosing to blab everything to the entire world. Hopefully all of her other clients have taken notice and stopped seeing her. She is a disgrace to the whole industry.

Strippers use stage names for a reason: to protect their personal lives.

Someone asks me "Do you know Candy? Her real name is Tina." Assuming I didn't already know Candy's real name, this stranger just told me without giving it a second thought. It happens all the time. People like this are untrustworthy and don't respect other people's privacy.

Many strippers have 3 names--their stage name, their "real name" (also fake), and their REAL name. Refrain from asking a stripper her real name; it puts her on the spot and increases the odds of her telling you her "real name" to avoid hurting your feelings or losing you as a customer.

By waiting until she volunteers to tell you, you are showing her respect and may actually earn her REAL name. If a stripper gives a name other than her stage name, appreciate that she felt comfortable/safe enough with you to share and don't betray her confidence. If she never volunteers, don't take it personally. Strippers use stage names for a reason: to protect their personal lives.

Here is an extreme example of what not to do:

I have tried this once before and of course I got a bunch of spammers so unless you do have some real info, fuck off. I am only interested in information about a Russian Exotic Dancer who worked at the Foxy Lady in Providence R.I. a couple of years ago, I know its a long shot but I have no other way of finding out what happened to her. Stage name was Layla, her real name was Alicia, she lived in South Boston and then as far as I know she moved to Walpole and quit dancing, went back to school (good for her) and had future plans of opening a tea shop in Boston, one of her good friends was another dancer named Tonia who lived in Bridgewater Mass. Alicia (Layla) was a tall beautiful woman with long dark hair, of course a beautiful body, I am just trying to find out some info about her, so if someone sees this add, let me know.

DON'T EVER DO THIS!!! If someone tells you a something personal/private you should not share that information with anyone else. Period! Even if you suspect that person tells everyone their secrets, when you are told something in confidence you should always be honourable and not tell anyone else.

Big Brother watching you order a pizza

As privacy becomes less and less, this could become our future.... http://aclu.org/pizza/images/screen.swf
